Lebanon organizes a conference on the "persecution" of Arabs in Ahwaz

The Lebanese Center for studies and research organized on Sunday in the capital Beirut a conference on "the persecution to which the Arab people are subjected to in the Ahwazi territories in Iran.

The conference called for the dispatch of an investigative delegation to investigate the dire human rights conditions and the atrocities committed against the Ahwazis.

Hasan Qutub director of the Center stressed the fact that "the Arab people of Ahwaz live in oppression and suffer dispossession and the repression of their role and existence."  while emphasizing that " Ahwaz is an occupied territory."
