ASMLA strongly denounces Egypt’s terror attack, expresses solidarity with Cairo

Ahwazna

The Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahwaz (ASMLA) has issued a statement, where it strongly condemned the deadly terror attack that targeted a mosque in Egypt's restive Sinai.

The movement also asserted its unmitigated solidarity with the Egyptian people and leadership in the aftermath of the attack.

It also paid condolences to the political leadership and bereaved families of victims.

In the statement, the movement said: “The terror bombing that rocked Egypt's Sinai on Friday is a deliberate attack on Egypt and its sublime values of civilization, which goes against the will of forces of darkness."

It added: “This attack is aimed at undermining Egypt's security and stability as well as spreading chaos in the major Arab nation."

ASMLA yet noted that Egypt has made great stride when it comes to fighting the forces of terrorism, stemming its sources of funding and nipping it in the bud. So the nation has become a target for the vicious acts of terrorism.

The movement reiterated the assertion that the Egyptian people are well aware of the dimensions of terrorism. And the country will continue to be a stumbling block to terror schemes.

Militants killed more than 230 people at a mosque in Egypt’s North Sinai on Friday, detonating a bomb and gunning down worshippers in the deadliest attack in the country’s modern history, state media and witnesses said.
